We saw the mine that took out a lot of gold over it's life. The owners houses that were in the park were very beautiful. There were some beautiful flowers that posed for me. The night before we left Davids pillow at a motel luckily it was there in the lost and found. I was soooo happy. It was very hot today I'm ready to go up into Yosemite. Hopefully it will be cooler. We were at mountain Shasta. We went into the town it was nice and small and fun. We went into two different crystal shops. They were a hoot. They had some really cool crystals. It turns out that there were 5 different shops. I haven't seen so many shop except in Sadona.

We went to Lassen there I woke in the morning looking like the devil so we went to hell. Bumpass hell to be exact. The path to hell is slippery because I fell on the path. Climbing out of hell is a lot harder that sliding into it. I was fun anyway. It was also hot as hell and smelled like hell. Having a great time and hope you are having a good time. Hay Dale we bought food at the Wallmart that you wired in Carson City. David was wondering if you signed any of your work. He also notices that there were some lights that were out and thought that you should come fix them. We drove around Lake Tahoe yesterday. There is a national park set up on these rich peoples estate. ( They were rich during the 20's) I wouldn't mind having an estate on the lake. It was so beautiful. The traffic is terrible in the area around the towns. There is only a 2 lane highway. It makes for a lot of slow cars in town. The pines are wonderful and it rained off and on all day so it was nice and cool. TTFN BJ

Well we are in the nice cool pines of Lake Tahoe. The weather is nice and cool. I hope it's not so hot in Salt Lake. There are a lot of Stellars Jay and ground squirrels. The most prolific of all are the ants. We are over a lot of them here in our camp site. Having a good time. Give the cats lots of hugs and pets for me. TTFN BJ

We had a really interesting drive today. We drove the loneliest road in the US. It goes from Baker to Carson City. In the middle of it there was road work. We had a lead car and we drove for a long time then came to 2 trucks on the side of the road. There were 2 men with shovels on the side of the road shoveling dirt. All that for 2 men with shovels. It was fun. TTFN BJ

We crossed the Nevada desert using the pony express road. It was a bit hot, a very nice gravel road. and exceptionally dusty. Our car became a few shades lighter from all the white dust. We saw Lehman Caves today and it was great. We had a really fun ranger that gave us our tour. TTFN BJ
